UGLY
started out around 1982. Originally called the 'Phantoms of Flange' (I dunno, it just had
to go...) we provided musicians a cheap method of recording demo tapes with our then
'state of the art' Tascam portastudio and rather good sound engineering techniques. This
inevitably led to other band related work such as promotion, tour scheduling, management,
the start of the UGLY Records label in 1984, the Men from UGLY magazine in 1986 and
finally even providing Video services with UGLY Video in 1989.
These days it's pretty much 'business as usual' but in
addition to our music & film services we have added IT Consultancy to the list as we
also have a wealth of computing experience here at UGLY (Assorted flavours of UNIX, NT,
MPE, SQL Server, Sybase, IIS, Netscape, VB, Java, etc...).
Ultimately we're here to have a good time and if we can
help you with music, films or computing we'll provide top service with a smile.
