Steven Rainbow has been making films since 1989, when with his first attempt
at a 'real' 30 minute feature comedy, "The Life and Times of Domicile Tregarrio"
he walked away with the Century 21 Award at the Birmingham Film Festival in England.
It's now 1999 and a lot has happened since then!
The hair is shorter (send me a new photo Steve or I will continue to use this grotty one
of you) and this prolific film maker seems to be oozing new ideas out of every pore of his
body... Actually that seems vaguely repulsive. No matter, we shall continue with the
news... |
As the sun sets on one award nominated film, the legendary PIG IN A POKE, so it raises on another. This time the short but
sweet apocryphal tale of Santa's comeuppance. A film for all the people who never get what
they ask for at Christmas.
DEAR SANTA was
nominated for the BBC Drama award at this years International Film & Television
Festival which occurred on the 29th November, in which it came second. Doh!
A series of 6 short
films is being discussed following the pilot film DEAR SANTA. |
